The Garmin 650 unit has no real comparison. I’ve noticed a lot of the aspects of this device dwarfs its competitors. The interface is so much more well developed, with large text and an easy to use interface. The touch screen works perfectly with said interface, making typing and menu browsing fast. The size and shape of the device is also compact and very portable, making travel with it more convenient. The speech instructions from this unit is also very quick and responsive. It gives you turn details with good time to spare before the actual turn, so you’ll never miss it.
Even if you do happen to miss such a turn, the Nuvi 650 is very fast on recalculating a route based on where you strayed off. It has been certainly a pleasure using this product, the other features on it makes using it so much more worthwhile as well. Using the MP3 play feature allowed me to take my MP3 collection wherever I go. Having other tools like calculators and a currency converter could also be useful for the traveller or vacationer. Excellent product!
